Leigh Park Education Action Zone - Goal Mapping

Twenty five very sceptical and weary staff from a range of primary and secondary staff were re-energised and empowered by Brian Mayne’s incredible Positive Visualisation and GOAL MAPPING technique.

Brian totally capitivated his audience within a couple of moments and, very eloquently, used his personal life experiences of illiteracy and extreme financial problems, to demonstrate how the technique of GOAL mapping and Positive Visualisation can be applied to turn lives around. His story which tracks his pathway from failure to success was moving and inspiring.

His style was very subtle and extremely relaxing yet energising, very different from the ‘all singing all dancing’ approach that other life that life changing performers often adopt.

The techniques which  have been applied to failing business leaders have a direct application for raising achievement in our classrooms. The GOAL mapping technique is now being applied at transition between Y6 and 7 through a ‘learning to learn’ transition passport. We are confident that it will help our students to refocus on their learning by visualising their bright future and then mapping their route to that successful dream. It is a technique that will give hope to our youngsters.

I thoroughly recommend Brian Mayne and the GOAL MAPPING technique to any school.
