What inspires me?

I feel inspired by seeing young people learn, particularly when they overcome barriers or negative self-beliefs. Very often young people feel unconfident about facing academic challenges and about their ability to take responsibility for their own learning. It inspires me to see them developing the confidence to become independent learners and to progress to greater levels of achievement.

What makes me me?

I have a passion for Literature and Theatre. I love the process of learning new things and gaining new skills. I enjoy seeing this nurtured in others and I love to see others learn about becoming good readers who have an enjoyment of theatre. I love to see youngsters see that high culture is for them and they can be a part of something of great beauty. I love to see that “Aah! I understand it now!” moment.
